Recreation Dog Park

Long Beach’s first dog park, Recreation Dog Park offers more than two acres of space with separate areas for small and large dogs, watering stations, benches, tables, evening lighting, bags, and scoops.

Newport Beach Dog-Friendly Beach Times
Dogs are allowed on oceanfront beaches before 10:00 AM and after 4:30 PM. Bayfront beaches are dog-friendly before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. Balboa Island is also a favorite dog-friendly destination.

Good to know: Dogs should remain leashed unless posted rules say otherwise.
